On September 7, 2026, Xiaomi officially launched the Xiaomi Skynomad N90 Max, an extended-range electric (EREV) large seven-seater SUV, priced at 269,900 yuan (39,700 USD). Alongside the standard Max model, the company debuted the Skynomad N90 Max Explorer Edition, which features a native electric pop-up roof cabin designed for camping enthusiasts, priced at 299,900 yuan (44,100 USD).
Design and dimensions
The Skynomad N90 Max features “Dragonfly” headlights with a cross-shaped layout and extended daytime running lights. The headlights offer a high-beam range of 624 meters and a 180° wide-angle low-beam coverage. The vehicle measures 5,285mm in length, 1,998mm in width, and 1,825mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3,080mm.
The SUV boasts a drag coefficient of 0.255, featuring an air intake integrated into the hood that allows for a maximum wading depth of 750mm and emergency floating capabilities. It comes standard with 21-inch wheels and a staggered tyre setup (255/45 R21 front, 265/45 R21 rear).

Interior
The interior offers three themes: Ceramic Beige, Midnight Black, and Mocha Brown. The cabin is centred around a 16.1-inch infotainment screen powered by the HyperOS system and a Qualcomm 8650 cockpit chip. A feature is the 2+2+3 seating configuration, which offers 11 different spatial layouts and a maximum storage capacity of 1,831L. The front and second-row seats include zero-gravity options with massage, ventilation, and heating functions. The central island is a movable, rail-mounted unit equipped with a 9L compressor refrigerator and multiple ecological expansion interfaces.

Powertrain and performance
The N90 Max utilises a 1.5T range extender paired with a dual-motor system. The 1.5T engine produces 112kW, while the front and rear motors deliver 210 kW (282 hp) and 100 kW (134 hp), respectively. Equipped with a 76 kWh NCM “dragonscale” battery pack, the vehicle achieves a CLTC pure electric range of 464 km and a combined range of 1,705 km. It supports fast charging, adding 285km of range in 15 minutes, and maintains a WLTC fuel consumption of 6.26L/100km in depleted-battery mode.
Safety and intelligence
Safety is reinforced by a 2,200 MPa embedded roll cage and 12 airbags. The intelligent driving system is powered by a 700 TOPS Nvidia Thor chip and the Xiaomi HAD XLA cognitive model. Hardware includes roof-mounted LiDAR, rear-facing solid-state LiDAR, 4D millimetre-wave radar, 11 high-definition cameras, and 12 ultrasonic radars, supporting advanced features such as highway and urban navigation assistance, as well as valet parking. The chassis features a front double-wishbone and rear H-arm multi-link independent suspension, complemented by a 5-level adjustable air suspension system.
