The Chinese Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) has officially listed the new Avatr T09 in the latest batch of new vehicle filings. The T09 is a plug-in hybrid (PHEV) sports utility vehicle designed to accommodate six passengers.
Dimensions
The Avatr T09 measures 5,285 mm in length, 2,025 mm in width, and 1,810 mm or 1,820 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3,150 mm. The front track is 1,726 mm, and the rear track is 1,740 mm.
The vehicle offers customisation options including various front grille designs, rim styles, roof glass, front and rear bumpers, skid plates, spoilers, and side steps. Customers can also opt for a two-tone body finish, roof rails, and specific exterior badging. The vehicle is equipped with an Event Data Recorder (EDR) and supports the installation of an ETC device.
Powertrain
The T09 is available in two powertrain configurations, both utilising 71.24 kWh ternary lithium batteries produced by CATL. Both versions reach a top speed of 220 km/h.

The vehicle supports external charging and offers tyre options of 255/50R21 or 275/45R22. Pricing information has not yet been disclosed.
